WEAVE Terms of Use

Using WEAVE

WEAVE helps you edit videos with music, effects, and captions. Use it lawfully and only with content you are entitled to use. Do not use WEAVE to infringe copyright, violate privacy, or create unlawful content. These terms do not remove rights you have under mandatory consumer law.

Your content and music rights

You retain your rights in the content you import and create. You are responsible for permissions relating to music recordings, compositions, footage, voices, likenesses, and other material in your videos. Owning or buying a song, having a streaming subscription, or importing a link does not by itself grant permission to synchronize or publish that music in video.

Catalog music is subject to the license identified for the track and its provider's restrictions. Check those terms for your intended use, including commercial use. WEAVE does not grant ownership of catalog recordings, permission to redistribute standalone music, or a guarantee that every platform will accept an upload or waive a copyright claim. Soundstripe is not currently offered in the public picker pending a production licensing agreement.

Free features and Pro subscriptions

The app identifies the features and limits available without Pro. Where offered, Pro is an optional monthly or yearly auto-renewable subscription. The App Store purchase sheet displays the applicable price, billing period, and any eligible offer before you confirm a purchase.

Apple charges your Apple Account. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Your account may be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of that period. Manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple Account settings. Deleting WEAVE does not cancel a subscription. Any trial or promotional offer is governed by the terms displayed at purchase; no trial is promised by these terms. Refund requests are handled by Apple under its policies and applicable law.

Editing, storage, and availability

Review exports before publishing. Beat detection, automatic captions, and editing suggestions may be imperfect. Keep copies of important original media and exports. Local projects can become unavailable if app data or source files are removed. WEAVE does not provide a guaranteed cloud backup service. Music availability and third-party services can change.

Privacy

The WEAVE Privacy Policy explains local media processing, optional Apple speech recognition, downloads, purchases, and your controls. It is available alongside these terms in the app's Settings and purchase screen.

App license and consumer rights

Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies to the app license unless a separate applicable license is provided: https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/ . These terms supplement that license with WEAVE-specific service and music-use information. Nothing here limits non-waivable consumer rights or excludes liability where doing so is unlawful.

We may update these terms to reflect changes in the app or legal requirements. The published page will identify its updated date; material changes will be communicated as required by law.
